Additions to Wed. Janurary 29

Jer and the Doggies out on the dock! The sunset that night!

Day Number 7 in Paradise!

This is a dock that everyone goes out and crabs and fishes off of. We wandered out there yesterday 1-28-09 since the day was glorious! Our 5th Wheel is over on the right, tiny white dot! The Doggies were covered in Sand and needed a bath by the time we got back!

Day Number 6 in Winchester Bay, Oregon

This is the tree in our yard at our "new" residence. But its Tuesday and its raining sideways and the wind is actually blowing today. First day since we have been here. Haven't heard about the truck yet, watching movies, playing on the internet and reading books. It is staying in weather today. I opened a FACEBook account also, much to the surprise of my daughters. Found people on there I haven't seen in a while! FUN stuff!

5th Day In Paradise

Today is Monday and we are still in Winchester Bay. As you can see the weather is fabulous, cold but fabulous. This was taken tonight at 5:15. The Camp Hosts took us to Safeway in Reedsport today for supplies. We were only going to be gone for 4-5 days and we are on Day 10.
The RV Resort we are staying at even feels sorry for us, they are giving us a discount on the spot. Everyone here is so nice.

Stuck in Paradise

Well its Monday January 26, I think! Talked to the repair shop today, they are sending our fuel pump to Portland for testing, repairs whatever... We are now getting the Weekly rate at the RV park, they have taken pity on us. The wonderful people that are camp hosts took me to Safeway in Reedsport today for supplies. Got some fresh fruit and some milk and cereal. She even offered to take me by the Liquor store but Jer said he was good, some campers that left yesterday that I was talking to telling them our plight, they brought by a bottle of Vodka so we wouldn't be without. We have been well taken care of. Stay Tuned!

Papa and Young Sylas

Papa is explaining the facts of life to Sylas at a tender age of 5 days. He seems to be quite intent on what he is saying.

Tru Bailey Thalman Modeling for Tommy Hilfiger

This is Tru on her modeling gig with Tommy! She as you can see quite sure of herself and ever so cute. Her pictures are on the Tommy Website. She is our Smallest Princess!

This is Rock Star! He is a Polish Crested Rooster! As you all know, we love chickens, this little guy came in our group we ordered from McMurray Hatchery when we got our layers. He doesn't hang with any one else and lots of times we have to go looking for him at dark because he isn't smart enough to go into the Hen HOUSE himself, what he doesn't know is there are lots of things that go bump in the night that would love to eat him for a snack. He doesn't see very well because of all the feathers which makes him very easy to catch and put him in the pen where he is safe!

This is Preston the Builder! We got him a tool belt and hard hat for Christmas this year and he has commenced to fixing EVERYTHING! He is such a help, just ask his Mom!

Saturday, January 24, 2009...we are still "stuck" in Winchester Bay. Our truck is in Coos Bay at a shop and we do not know what the verdict is yet! The Camp Hosts came over this afternoon to tell us they would take us anywhere we wanted or needed to go, even to Coos Bay to get our truck when its done! We really appreciated that, even another couple who also have Yorkies told us they would take us to the store in Reedsport if we needed to go. Great group of people. Nice place to be stuck I guess! Keep posted for our adventure on the Southern Coast!

These are the Loves of our Lives...all 5 of them.

Starting at the Right is Emma Jo Jo age 6, Preston Thomas age 3, Tru Bailey age 4, Madison Nichole age 8 and our newest Sylas Carter age 12 hrs in this picture. This is at Silverton Hospital which Mindy highly recommends! You guys are the cutest!

This is Emma, she is six and the "middle" child of the grandchildren. She Lost her two bottom toofers on the same day due to having them yanked by the dentist, her new teeth were coming in and her others were not budging and we did try! She is my helper and Papa's girl mostly. Nothing she won't do for ya! Just ask her.

This is Ginger our 5 year old Yorkie, she managed to get into the doggie supplies and "stole" all the rawhide bones out of a package. She has hidden them all over the house, under blankets, pillows, cushions on the couch. She discovers them on occasion and is very pleased with herself! She looks like an unmade bed most of the time! She loves to mess up her hair as soon as you comb her.

Another view from Winchester Bay, Space 57 on the Umpqua River. This is a great park, and we have been lucky, no wind and no rain in the middle of January. Thank god for good weather because we have to stay here until our truck is fixed.

This is the view from our RV at Winchester Bay where we are broke down! Came here for 2 days going on 4, our truck is in Coos Bay being "looked at" Stay Posted
